The Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) welcomed the graduates of the inaugural Aeronautical Information Service Comprehensive Course (AISCC) during a graduation ceremony held on Friday, January 30, at the Civil Aviation Training Center (CATC) in Pasay City.
A total of 33 trainees successfully completed the intensive four-month training program, where they were equipped with the essential knowledge, skills and professional attitude necessary to ensure the accurate and timely flow of aeronautical data and aeronautical information. The course is designed to support the safety, regularity and efficiency of the global air traffic management (ATM) system, in accordance with International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) standards.
In his closing remarks, CAAP Deputy Director General for Operations Retired Lt. Gen. Rozzano Briguez reminded the members of Batch S1NANGUNA that the aviation industry demands the highest level of professionalism and commitment to excellence.
“Excellence is not a choice, it is a must. It should be part of our DNA. It should be part of life. Tandaan po natin iyan,” Lt. Gen. Briguez said.
Launched in September 2025, the AISCC is aligned with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. and Transportation Secretary Giovanni Lopez to strengthen the country’s aviation sector by investing in human capital and developing globally competitive aviation professionals.
