By Lane Afable, News Editor

The City Government of Muntinlupa is offering a Real Property Tax (RPT) Amnesty Program to assist property owners with unsettled taxes on land or housing units.

Residents with unpaid real property taxes are encouraged to settle their obligations under the program, which aims to provide a more accessible and streamlined process for taxpayers.

Property owners or their authorized representatives may visit the City Treasurer’s Office at Muntinlupa City Hall before July 5, 2026 to avail of the amnesty. Required documents include a request letter, latest copy of CCT or TCT, valid identification, and additional legal documents such as a Special Power of Attorney or Extrajudicial Settlement when applicable.

City officials said the program is designed to help ease the financial burden on taxpayers while improving compliance and strengthening local revenue collection.

The local government encouraged residents to take advantage of the amnesty period, emphasizing that timely settlement of taxes contributes to continued public service improvements and city development projects.
