The Presidential Communications Office (PCO) and nine major Philippine newspapers signed a Memorandum of Understanding under Oplan Kontra Fake News to strengthen cooperation against disinformation, promote fact-based reporting, and enhance media literacy while upholding press freedom.
Signatories include Business Mirror, Business World, Daily Tribune, Malaya Business Insight, Manila Bulletin, Manila Standard, Philippine Daily Inquirer, The Manila Times, and The Philippine Star.
