Qatar favors 500 USD salary for domestic workers

 

Philippines local Private Recruitment Agency deploying Household Service Workers announced recently that a Foreign Recruitment Agency in Qatar has complied with DMW salary increase for Filipino domestic workers,

In itโ€™s Facebook Page LRC ManPower Services Internationale, Inc. posted the message from the Migrant Workers Office (MWO) in Qatar has recognized Al Tamayouz Manpower as the first Qatar Recruitment Agency (QRA) to comply with the Department of Migrant Workers (DMW) Memorandum Circular (MC) No. 03, Series of 2025, which raised the minimum monthly salary of Filipino domestic workers to USD 500.00 (QAR 1,825.00) or P 29,000 pesos.

This means beneficiaries of our Domestic Workers will have additional funds to cope with the rising prices of food, groceries, utility expenses, educational allowances and other miscellaneous expenses according to migrant expert Emmanuel S. Geslani.

Under MC No. 03, Series of 2025, foreign principals and employers who comply with the salary adjustment are granted several incentives, including ๐ฉ๐ซ๐ข๐จ๐ซ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ (๐†๐ซ๐ž๐ž๐ง๐ฅ๐š๐ง๐ž) ๐ฉ๐ซ๐จ๐œ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐ง๐  for accreditation, registration, and re-accreditation; ๐š๐œ๐œ๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ƒ๐Œ๐– ๐๐จ๐จ๐ฅ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐’๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ๐ž๐ ๐‹๐š๐›๐จ๐ซ for skills matching and recruitment; and ๐‚๐จ๐ง๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐‡๐จ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ฌ ๐จ๐ง ๐„๐ฆ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐จ๐ฒ๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐’๐ญ๐š๐ง๐๐š๐ซ๐๐ฌ.

The memorandum circular also provides a six-month transitory period for employers to voluntarily and gradually adjust the salaries of their Filipino domestic workers before a performance audit is conducted to assess overall compliance
