Muntinlupa City Vice Mayor (VM) Stephanie “Phanie” G. Teves- Wong announced that some P415,000.00 in public funds were extended to recent fire victims in the city.
VM Teves-Wong said the city council had approved crucial ordinances and resolutions on its 39th Regular Session the other day.
The VM bared that an ordinance granting financial assistance to families affected by fire incidents in different barangays in the city was sponsored by Committee on Disaster Resilience and Management
Chair Councilor Paty Katy Boncayao-Baretto.
The beneficiaries, to wit, are families of:
1. No. 7-A Extension, Ilaya Street, Brgy Alabang
1 Family: Php 5,000.00
2. No. 215 San Guillermo St., Arciaga Compound, Brgy. Putatan —
1 Family: Php 10,000.00
3. Sitio San Antonio, Brgy. Poblacion
23 Families: Php 400,000.00
Meanwhile, a resolution expressing deepest sympathy to the bereaved family of former Councilor Allan Rey A. Camilon authored by Committee on Rules, Ethics and Priveleges
Chair Councilor Atty. Raul R. Corro was approved.
Councilor Corro likewise sponsored an ordinance granting financial assistance to the bereaved family of former Councilor Allan Rey A. Camilon. It passed with a unanimous vote.
VM Teves-Wong further said on Monday (April 13, 2026), the Local Government of Muntinlupa will hold a necrological service at the City hall Main Building in honor of Councilor Allan Camilon.
The late Camilon, she added, shared and dedicated 23 years, almost half of his life, in public service to Muntinlupenos.
