The City Government of Muntinlupa continues to expand access to quality healthcare services with the ongoing construction of a Mega Health Center (MHC) in Barangay Alabang. The facility is expected to provide more accessible and efficient medical services to residents once completed.
The modern health center will feature laboratory facilities for clinical tests and diagnostics, a birthing area equipped with delivery rooms, recovery beds, and prenatal consultation services. It will also include PWD- and gender-sensitive spaces to ensure inclusivity and accessibility for all patients.
Once operational, the facility is expected to deliver faster and more convenient healthcare services, including diagnostic procedures, maternal care, and other essential medical services, especially for communities in need of immediate access to public health support.
City officials said the project is part of efforts to decentralize healthcare services and bring medical assistance closer to residents, reducing the need to travel to major hospitals for basic and specialized care.
The initiative forms part of Mayor Ruffy Biazon’s health-focused programs under his 7K Agenda –fully supported by Vice Mayor Stephanie Teves – which prioritizes accessible, reliable, and high-quality healthcare for all Muntinlupeños, particularly those in underserved communities.
