A bigger rollback in fuel prices is set next week, with diesel expected to drop by more than PhP24 per liter, gasoline by PhP3.41, and kerosene by Php2.00, as President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. assured the public that “may ginhawang parating.”

May ginhawang parating,” President Marcos added.

The Chief Executive also ordered oil companies to implement the reductions fully and without delay.

President Marcos encouraged the public to report any violations of the prevailing regulations and assured them of the government’s immediate actions.

Kikilos kami kaagad,” the President noted.

The Chief Executive said the PhP10 fuel discount for public utility vehicles, such as buses and jeepneys, continues, as does the service contracting program for PUV drivers.

The President said the Department of Transportation (DOTr) began implementing a moratorium on driver’s licenses, including student and conductor permits, as well as car registrations set to expire this month, as part of government relief measures.
