Bureau of Immigration (BI) intelligence operatives arrested an Indian national reportedly involved in illegal lending schemes.
Lovepreet Singh, Indian, 24, was arrested in a talipapa in Brgy. Mambungan, Mayamot, Antipolo City by BI Intelligence Agents, in coordination with the Police Community Precinct of Brgy. Mambugan last April 10.
Singh was unable to present his passport and visa, rendering him an undocumented alien.
The BI also found Singh as an undesirable alien due to his involvement in usurious lending activities.
He was immediately arrested and brought to the BI Warden’s Facility after inquest and booking.
A deportation case against Singh was filed, and if proven guilty, the Indian man faces deportation and blacklisting.
