The Bureau of Customs (BOC) successfully conducted a public auction on April 28, 2026, under the directive of Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno, raising a total of ₱25 million.

Through the Auction and Cargo Disposal Division (ACDD) of the Port of Manila, one (1) of the motor vehicles offered—a Rolls-Royce Phantom (2023)—was successfully sold, generating proceeds amounting to ₱25,548,050 including registration fee.

The activity was conducted in accordance with established rules and procedures, ensuring an open, fair, and competitive process in the disposal of seized and forfeited goods.

For the year 2026, the BOC has collected a total of ₱99.508 million from public auctions, reflecting the agency’s sustained efforts to maximize the value of forfeited goods and contribute to the BOC’s revenue.

Commissioner Nepomuceno underscored the significance of transparent and lawful disposal mechanisms in maximizing government resources and strengthening public trust, emphasizing that public auction initiatives ensure forfeited goods are disposed of in a manner that is both transparent and beneficial to the public, while upholding accountability and contributing meaningfully to national development.

The BOC continues to encourage the public to participate in future auctions and to regularly check the agency’s official website and communication platforms for announcements and schedules of upcoming public auction activities.
