An additional 24 registered Filipino nurses arrived in Austria last Jan. 22. 2024 over the last
weekend as the state of Burgenland 9n Austria received an additional 24 nurses from
the local employment licensed agency in Makati.

The 24 nurses who were recruited by LRC Manpower. Inc. left for Austria last Saturday via
Eva Airways, arrived safely at Vienna International Airport will join the initial batch of 26 nurses
who arrived in late September,2023 The first batch who arrived last year are the latest Filipino nurses since the
late 1970’s when Austria accepted Filipino nurses.
After a hiatus of almost five decades the state of Burgenland in Austria was able to connect
LRC Manpower to mobilize and deploy Filipino nurses for their hospitals.
The nurses will work in auxiliary work while studying German language courses which is the
national dialect in Austria. They will receive EU 1200 or Php 73,120 during their German
Language raining.
After 6-7 months the pay will be increased to 2600 EU or 156,000 pesos upon obtaining a
Language Certification and passing the Austrian Nursing Board Exams.
Full board and accommodation will be shouldered by the hospital and the contract is for two
years with fifteen days annual leave each year.
All expenses for the deployment of the Filipino nurses were covered by the employer except
the passports and medical exams of the applicant.
