Las Piñas City Mayor Imelda Aguilar thanked the Department of Social Welfare and Development-National Capital Region (DSWD-NCR) for the recognition given to the city government as No. 2 among Metro Manila cities in compliance with the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).
Mayor Aguilar said the city government got a 98.4 percent compliance in health, education, deworming categories, and family development sessions.
She said the city government got the No. 2 rank after members of the City Social Welfare and Development Office, CityLinks and the Social Welfare assistants worked hard in continuing to give better services to residents belonging to 4Ps category.
The mayor said the City Health Office, Department of Education (DepEd) and the Local Development Council also took part in prioritizing programs for 4Ps.
Mayor Aguilar said the city government ranked 13th among other local government units in the NCR in the recent years.
She said the compliance with programs for 4Ps was also part of her administration’s “Tuloy ang Tapat at Progresibong Serbisyo”.
The mayor said the city government ranked 2nd during the Local Advisory Council meeting of the DSWD-NCR.
