The Sangguniang Kabataan Chairpersons and Council Members of Las Piñas City continued their official budget deliberations during the second SK Budget Hearing held on Thursday, June 19, at the City Hall.
The participating barangays included Pilar, Ilaya, Zapote, Almanza Dos, Talon Tres, Pamplona Uno, Pamplona Tres, Almanza Uno, Talon Singko, Pulang Lupa Dos, and Elias Aldana. Each SK council presented their respective program proposals and funding priorities for calendar year 2025, with a focus on youth development, civic engagement, and barangay-level initiatives.
Present during the hearing to support the process were Mayor-elect April Aguilar, Councilor Jess Bustamante, Councilor Henry Medina, Councilor Danny Hernandez, and representatives from the City Budget Office. The officials underscored the importance of transparency, innovation, and accountability in formulating programs responsive to the needs of the city’s youth.
The SK Federation of Las Piñas, led by Federation President Rey Angelo Reyes, expressed appreciation for the continued support of the city government. The June 19 hearing followed an earlier session held on May 28, which covered the budget presentations of BF International / CAA and Manuyo Dos.
