MORE THAN 500 JOB SEEKERS HIRED ON THE SPOT IN CALOOCAN CITY

A total of 511 job seekers from the City of Caloocan were hired on the spot as the city government, through the efforts of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO), successfully concluded the conduct of two Mega Job Fairs for the month of February.

The said job fairs, which were also organized as part of the planned activities for the celebration of the 63rd Cityhood Anniversary, featured dozens of partner companies offering fresh opportunities, with permanent positions in both domestic and overseas setting in industries such as retail, sales, business process outsourcing (BPO), and construction.

City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan expressed nothing but praise to the PESO for its consistent answer to his administration’s directive to provide long-term employment and livelihood opportunities to his constituents and assured his constituents that more job fairs will be implemented in the coming months to open up even more chances for Caloocan residents, especially for first-time job seekers.
