The AKOOFW National Executive Council formally met in accordance with the constitution of their organization’s by-law to elect officers of the National Executive Council of the AKOOFW Partylist.
Among those elected as national president is one of the founders of AKOOFW, Frederick F. Makasakit.
Makasakit is an OFW from Kuwait since 1988 and stayed in Kuwait during the height of the Kuwait-Iraq war. He also became the president of the Filipino Badminton Committee-Kuwait and became the Secretary General of the Kuwait Oil Company Basketball Committee.

Gerardo Zamudio โ Vice Chairman for Media Affairs; Donald Patrick Lim- Vice Chairman for Planning & Operations; Katrina M. Umandap- Vice Chairman for International Community Affairs; Jose Anthony E. Umandap- Vice Chairman for Political Affairs; Anna Marie M. Umandap โ Vice Chairman for Social Services; Atty. Marlon Valderama โ Vice Chairman for legal Affairs; Pablo L. Umandap – Treasurer; Teresita U. Evangelista- Secretary General.
AKOOFW is an organization of OFWs whose purpose is to safeguard and protect the rights and welfare of OFWs.
