OFWS in Israel and Iraq warned of missile attacks from Iran

30,000 OFWs in Israel were advised to take the necessary precautions amidst the intensification of the air war between Israel and Iran as both sides traded missile and aircraft attacks in the past two days with no let-up in the intensity of both countries.

Israel continued with the air force raining down hundreds of bombs on Iran’s nuclear and military sides while Iran has sent missiles and drone attacks on the capital od Israel Tel Aviv and other major cities.

Around 30,000 OFWs in Israel working moistly as caregivers were told by the Philippine Embassy to be aware of air raid sirens in Tel Aviv and head to the nearest bomb shelters.

At the start of the Hamas attacks on Israel two years ago Iran supported the attacks by missile attacks on Tel Aviv endangering the civil population.

Around two thousand OFWs were repatriated by the Department of Migrant Workers.

Meanwhile migrant expert Emmanuel Geslani warned 1800 OFWs working in five (5) US bases in Iraq to be wary of missile attacks from Iran which plans to attack US bases in the Middle East.

The OFWs who are working for KBR, an international contractor hired by the US Military to handle the maintenance and logistical needs of the US troops based in Iraq for the training of the Iraq National Army.

In Erbil a Special Administrative Region of Iraq 3,000 OFWS working in various companies and factories were also waned of Iran’s missile attacks on a large US Air Base nearby which were previously attacked by Iranian terror groups.

IN another development US President Donald Trump has ordered the evacuation of non-miltiary personnel and their families from the Middle East countries of Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE and Jordan in view of the escalating war between Israel and Iran.
