“As the economy recovers and as businesses grow back, we believe that we can help you. You are PAL’s valued customers and we invite you to partner with us.
” Capt. Stanley K. Ng made this call to the country’s small and mid-sized enterprises during the Asia SME 2023 Forum held.at the Marriot Hotel in Pasay recently.
“We understand that you struggled with major challenges during the pandemic. It was hard to move goods around the country or secure important supplies, raw ingredients and labor.
It was almost impossible to travel to meet your business needs.” PAL’s current direction is to support SMEs to enable them to expand markets and business networks throughout the Philippines and eventually, globally.
PAL vowed to make delivery costs more affordable to SMEs and improve delivery time. Capt. Stan said, “We’re excited to introduce our new Port to Door Cargo Service product very soon that can help you have more control over the delivery timing of your production goods, supplies and produce.
Under this service, PAL will take care of delivering cargo directly to the doorstep of consignees, through its partnerships with cargo agents. PAL will offer both the “middle mile” and “last mile” of shipment, giving consignees shorter waiting time for shipment delivery.
“PAL is exploring more tie-ups with accredited partners to offer a wider range of cargo products,” he added. The line up of guest speakers also included Rene Reinoso – GM of Amazing Philippines Digital Economy Corp., Rolan Marco Garcia – Founding COO & Managing Partner of Embiggen, Felix Berroya – Founder & COO Ask Lex PH Academy and Georgina Ann Yang – Exec.Dir. of Galing Pook Foundation.
