DOT Secretary Christina Frasco inducted the new set of officers of the Tourism Congress of the Philippines (TCP) in a ceremony held at the Department of Tourism Central Office in Makati City recently.
Sec. Frasco stressed that TCP is a major stakeholder in the tourism industry being the bridge between the government and the private sector.
Bob Zozobrado was sworn in as President of TCP.
Our very own PAL VP for Marketing Ria Carrion Domingo was sworn in as a Member of the TCP Board of Trustees.
James Montenegro was named Executive Vice President, Peter Tay as VP for Visayas, Marilou Ampuan as VP for Mindanao, Margarita Munsayac as Treasurer, and Harry Morrisa as Public Relations Officer.
Completing the Board of Trustees are: Michael Jaey Albaña, Celso Jimenez, Eduard Loop, Jaime Sarte III and Mary Ann Montemayor.
Through continued collaboration with the private sector, the TCP aims to strengthen the tourism industry from the ground up.
