As part of the administration’s strengthened support to the Filipino athlete, President Ferdinand R. inaugurated it. Marcos Jr. the Sorsogon Sports Arena (SSA) this October 17, 2024 in conjunction with the celebration of the 130th anniversary of Sorsogon province and the 50th Kasanggayahan Festival.
With a capacity of 12,000 people, the SSA will serve as a National Training Camp to increase world-class athletes and Olympians from the country. The Arena has also been designed for conferences, summits, concerts, and competitions that will bring more opportunities and activities to the region.
