PNP LAB Virus Brings Smiles: Gifts for Children and Support for Ailing Personnel

The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) under the leadership of the Regional Director, PMGEN JOSE MELENCIO C NARTATEZ, JR, recently marked a day of heartfelt service and community engagement through the PNP LAB Virus initiative. A gift-giving ceremony was held for students of the Bahay Bulilit Day Care Center, and the distribution of assistance to NCRPO personnel grappling with chronic illnesses on August 20, 2024, at Hinirang Multi-purpose Hall, Camp Bagong Diwa, Bicutan, Taguig City.

MRS. MARY ROSE P. MARBIL, National Adviser, PNP Officers’ Ladies Club, Foundation Inc. (OLCFI), graced the event as the guest of honor. She was accompanied by MRS. MARY ROSE O. NARTATEZ, Adviser, NCRPO OLC, and other dedicated members of the OLCFI, all of whom played a vital role in the day’s activities.

The event began with the children of Bahay Bulilit showcasing their talents through spirited poetry recitals and performances, infusing the atmosphere with joy and enthusiasm. This was followed by a touching gift-giving ceremony where the young students received school supplies and other essentials, equipping them for their educational journey ahead.

Following the gift-giving, the focus shifted to providing support for NCRPO personnel who are currently battling chronic illnesses. Financial aid and other assistance were distributed to these individuals, underscoring the OLCFI and NCRPO’s deep commitment to the welfare of PNP personnel. This gesture served as a powerful reminder of the organization’s dedication to looking after its own.

In her speech, MRS. MARBIL highlighted the mission of the OLCFI, which is centered on delivering charitable, social, and community outreach programs that uplift the lives of police personnel, their families, and the broader community.

MRS. NARTATEZ expressed heartfelt appreciation for the collective efforts and reiterated the importance of fostering a supportive and caring environment within the NCRPO.
