Top recruitment agency denies collecting fees from Taiwan bound scholars

A prestigious and top performing recruitment agency vehemently denied collecting fees from Taiwan bound scholars and said that they are not in the business of student visas.

J.S. Contractors, Inc which has been in the business of deploying Overseas Filipino Workers for the past 45 years said in a press statement that the company has not never been engaged in the recruitment, placement and deployment of Filipino Students.

In a letter sent to MECO Chairman Silvestre Bello III the company president Mary Jean P. Borra explicitly said that their company has always dealt with recruitment and placement of OFWs

A Taiwan migration expert added that the MECO Chief may have been misinformed on certain information that reached Bello on the program of Taiwan in the acceptance of Filipino students in Taiwan universities which started in 2019.and has benefited .

Around two hundred Filipinos who graduated with Electrical Engineering degrees under the study=work program. Most Filipino students have been absorbed by Taiwanese factories.
