Caloocan City Mayor Dale Gonzalo “Along” Malapitan has been proclaimed the city’s local chief executive by the Commission on Elections (Comelec) board of canvassers after topping the mayoralty race on Tuesday, May 13.
The City Mayor bested four other candidates, including his rival, former Senator Antonio “Sonny” Trillanes IV.
Caloocan City Vice Mayor Karina Teh, Mayor Along’s running mate, was also proclaimed winner of the local elections.
