Filipino dart players brought home honors after winning the recently concluded Dart Tournament in Dubai.
Pinoy Dart Players Alexis Toylo, Lawrence Ilagan, Paolo Nebrida and others brought home more than half a million pesos.
According to Ilagan, he is thankful to the Lord and that they returned home with honor to the country, but that they are saddened by what happened to their fellow player, Eric Sandro Sosing, after collapsing while the tournament was about to start in London on December 22 .
Sosing was rushed to the hospital in London and he was unable to play.
Sandro Sosing is a native of Tabon Tabon Leyte, he started in a small tournament until he was named 2 time Asian Dart Champion and this December in his match in London would have given him the opportunity to become world champion but he collapsed in the middle of the match and when he was hospitalized he was diagnosed with GB syndrome.
According to Sandro Sosing, he will only go to a physical therapist and he hopes that he will be able to recover and return to playing.
