Unknown individuals attempted to kidnap the political officer of Parañaque mayoral candidate Ailleen Claire Olivarez at a coffee hub in Parañaque City on Saturday afternoon.
According to the account of political officer Paulo Cornejo, a group of men attacked him while he and his companions were having a snack at the coffee shop and attempted to abduct him.
“Our attorney himself saw it, he said it was an attempted kidnapping”, said Paulo.
Because of what happened, Paulo has already taken a blotter and their lawyer will also give a sworn statement to the police.
The police will go to the scene of the incident to further investigate.
Paulo also said that he does not know of any personal enemies or enemies who may have done this to him.
The political officer is convinced that his political affiliation or support for mayoral candidate Ailleen Claire Olivarez, better known as ACO, has something to do with it.
“I’m not afraid of them. We’ll push harder, maybe they think we’ll get scared and back down, they’ll be only stiff,” Paulo Cornejo concluded.
