The island nation of Taiwan is opening opportunities for Filipino senior high graduates and young college students to enter Taiwan under a study and work program.
Three top engineering universities in Taiwan now accepting applicants for the study/work program of Taiwan’s Ministry of Education.
Young Filipino graduates of Senior High School or 2nd year college students who want to learn advanced engineering courses are encouraged to apply for scholarships offered by top engineering schools in Taiwan for the school year 2025-2026.
The scholarships under a study\work program is open to all Filipino youth male or female will be offered in the following universities in three different cities in Taiwan.
Taiwan Steel University of Science and Technology –Mechatronics Engineering
Kun Shan University, Tainan-Electrical engineering, Environmental, Electronic Engineering Business Administration
Mingshin Univeristy-Science and Technology, Hsinchu- Mechanical Engineering
The study and work program is for two years with the students earning wages while working 20 hours a week and those who will continue to a four year course will be allowed 40 hours on-the-job training in the factories.
The selected students will be responsible to have a valid passport, medical exams, visa and documentation expenses.
Interviews will be held on April and May for applicants in Manila and Cebu.
